Midweek Blues

These two little doggies looked like they had the a case of the blues when I parked my car and headed into a restaurant. After dinner and conversation, they were still there when I returned. I wasn't sure if I should do something or what it would be that I should do. Made me sad to see them tail wagging or barking when I approached the vehicle:(Linked to Midweek Blues at The Dusty Cellar.

Barn Charm

Many Ohio barns are painted with this bicentennial logo. Ohio bicentennial painter, Scott Hagan, sketched and painted each logo by hand. By Sept. 2002 the artist had completed his five year mission of painting the logo on at least one barn in each of the 88 counties.Linked to Tricia's Bluff Area Daily...and to Our World Tuesday...

Mountain Monument in Massachusetts

Mt. Greylock is the highest natural point in Massachusetts at 3,491 ft. with this 93 ft. monument crowning the summit.
Views of of up to 70-135 miles are possible into five different states: MA, NY, CT, VT, NH. However, on this day there was a thin layer of fog in the distance.
For six years I lived in a tiny town nestled in the valley of these Berkshire Hills. I didn't fully appreciate the beauty of the area until last October when I returned for a class reunion.
