My World

It is that time of year when deer come out of the woods and into the harvested fields looking for a bit of leftover corn or beans.
This mother and her fawn were about to cross the road and enter the field when they spotted me.
They turned around and headed back into the woods and then I saw a second fawn. This happened in less than a minute, and then they were gone.Check out more My World photos on the sidebar.

They're so beautiful! And you got some great shots, Carol! They move so quickly it's not easy to catch a shot! Have a lovely evening!

Nice photos. I love deer, we see them regularly around here. But I almost never get a good photo of them.

Yes, that time of year. A deer hit my car last year at this time, so beware!

Carol, the light on the deer is wonderful! The mother looks like she's made of bronze. Hope they stay safe in hunting season.
