My World

It has been said that Ohio likely has more advertisement barns than any other state. I came across this unusual barn in Holmes County, home of the Amish community.

Oh, yes! That's terrific! I love seeing the horse drawn carriages lined up there! It's like stepping back into another time -- although they might not have been advertising Beef Jerky back then! Great look at your world, Carol, as always! Enjoy your day!

This definitely brings back memories of my Lancaster County roots, Carol! Were they having Sunday service at someone's house?

What a beautiful picture. I like the time warp between the barn and the buggies.

An interesting way to advertise. I've never seen one for real but seeing it here virtually is good enough for me. Thanks. :)

I love it!
Reminiscent of the old tobacco barn ads.

Ohio seems to have a lot of well built barns, both for you to photograph and for the advertisers to place their messages. Love the wagons all lined up outside.
