T....is for Traps

Lobster traps are unloaded onto the wharf in Rockport, MA. A close up of the lobster traps...
These are old fashioned lobster traps made of wood.

Rockport looks a bit like Norway! I think it's beautiful! The lobster buoys are very colourful.

Lovely photos! I always think putting out and then pulling in the lobster pots is such hard work.
(By the way, the Thomas books are not mine - I can't find ours!)

Beautiful place and espetially the first shot. I agree with Reader Wil - it looks as in North Europa. I like the header photo too.

I like the color in these photos! And, of course, "traps." I have a similar photo but never thought of using it...duhhhh!

The wooden traps are where it's at in my opinion.

Just beautiful images that draw me in to the little places along coves of water ways. I loved my one little visit to Maine in 2000 and my first taste of whole Maine lobster, oh my...my mouth is watering~

It's always fun to see now out of towners see our area. The red fishing shack is know as "Motif #1", named many years ago because it is a favorite subject. I always say that you cannot take a bad picture of Motif #1, and you've done a spectacular job. By-the-by, rent "The Engagement" with Sandra Bullock.

Carol, I'm enjoying these photos of Rockport. I'm going to Martha's Vineyard with friends this August. Those boats and lobster buoys are so colorful!
