O is For Ohio

Three views of the Ohio River...
A tugboat pushes three barges down the river between Ohio and Kentucky, taken on the Ohio side of the river.
Taken on the Kentucky side of the river facing Cincinnati.
Another tugboat on the river between Ohio and West Virginia.

One of the very 1st albums I ever heard was (oddly) called The Best of Joan Baez. It came out in 1959 and featured the song On the Banks of the Ohio. I've had affection for the river ever since.

On behalf of the ABC Wednesday team, thank you!

That second photo is my favorite, Carol. I wonder where you were to take it? Looks as though it was sunset.

I love to sit on the banks and watch a river such as this do its work.
