Barns

The predominantly white barns in Ohio suggest the idea of cleanliness and purity...both good associations for milk. The next most popular color (in OH) is red...my personal favorite. Green is an unusual barn color.....but I like it.

I like this too. This barn is capable of handling a number of milk cows - and likely quickly too. Nice tidy, clean setting. And that is important when it comes to cattle. I'm an old farm gal, so I know.

Good shot and exposure.

I love barns and this one is a beauty.
Your title picture scene is really lovely. The barns, the sky, the greenery...perfect!

Definitely an interesting color for a barn, but I like it!

Wow that is really cool and kind of interesting. I passed a barn just like that in New Jersey today and I was thinking "you don't see barns like that everyday"
Two big green barns in one day. :-)

I don't believe I have ever seen a green barn before. I love it. Definitely my new favorite.

Your barn looks too classy and speaks of dignity. Australian barns are calleds shed but I don't think I have seen one like that. That's almost a dignified home to people.

Thanks Carol for your permission in using your skywatch photo for a pictorial poetry.

I'll give you a copy.

These are so wonderful. I photographed barns so many years ago. I want to return to the mid-west and spend more time finding barns and more barns. I love them. Your shots are especially beautiful!

I think this is the first green barn I've seen. I must admit that it looks very nice.

Very cool! Red is definitely the color in Pennsylvania.
