Skywatch

Although a storm was brewing last Sunday, the lake had a calmness to it. Taken in Celina at Grand Lake St. Marys.

Hi Carol. This is a beautiful shot. Definitely the calm before the storm. The subtle gradations of colour in the sky show up well in the still water.

Might not want to chance going out in that boat with a storm brewing; but sitting on that pier with toes dangling in the water sure would be nice. :)

Lots of stuff to like about this picture. I love peacefulness of the water and also the zig zag pattern of the docks leading to the parallel lines of the shore and the line of clods.
