View From the Bridge

This is one of a series of shots I took while walking over a bridge in MD. The sun was beginning to set, casting light on the sides of these boats.

This is a very peaceful, serene view. The lighting is perfect.

seems so quiet. I can almost feel the solitude conveyed by the moored sailboats.

Just spent a few days on the Maine coast--talk about a maritime culture. I'm sure if I lived on the Great Lakes or a seacoast I'd want to sail away...

Found your comment on another blog and decided to check out your blog. I've been browsing your site and find some incredible shots! Most of them do not need my measly comments because you already have a huge following. Yet, I found this one that only has 10 comments so far, and thought I'd let you know I've stopped by and love your work.
