Dangerous

This little waterfall is in a small local park in a very small city. I was surprised to stumble upon it while walking through a wooded area. Pun intended...I slipped off one of these large rocks and cracked a rib. Ouch. But I managed to save my camera. Whew.

Oh my goodness. I wish you a very speedy recovery. Better a rib than your skull though.

By the way nice picture.

Good to know that you're alright now. Take care.

Nasty! Though maybe a blessing in disguise to teach you to take greater care. I dont know how old you are, but I certainly cannot afford to fall on a rock while hopping about like an 8 year old and looking through the view finder!
Beautiful water shot, almost worth cracking a rib for.

I was looking at the nice small waterfalls and wondered what the danger was for an adult. Of course, you could have tripped and fallen on the way to the falls, so the danger isn't so inherent in the falls itself, as it is in how you respond to the surroundings.

Glad you survived as did your camera or else we would not have gotten this lovely idyllic falls shot. This is really lovely. Like the setting, the color and you captured the moving water quite well.

I hope you think the shot was worth it because it is very nice. Funny isn't it how we fall, taking a photo, and do everything possbile to save the camera!! I hope the rib heals quickly.

Ouch indeed! You need studded felt-soled waders. Seriously, I fell on slick rocks a few years ago and bashed my tailbone--didn't go to a doctor but I was sore for months.

Glad you saved the camera and got the shot ;-)
