Boats

These boats in Hueston Woods State Park are here for rent.

The larger boats are $58 an hour to rent! I've never rented one of them, but it seems pretty steep...Click on ABC Wednesday on the side bar...

The alternating Johnson / Mercury motors in the first photo is pretty cool. Planned or luck - only the dock hand knows for sure.

That does sound steep, but I don't know about renting boats. It might be kind of fun.

Beautiful Boats! Thanks for stopping by!

Great shots! :-)

If you think those prices were bad you should see what they charge here in Florida! I recently went on a photo walk through a marina and was floored by the cost! I'll post the price board at some point for one of the photo memes - just amazingly outrageous!

Expensive, - but don't they look inviting and shady.

$58? May I just hang out on the dock?

That is expensive, but they're very photogenic - and the picture was free to take! ;)

Beautiful boats. I have boats on my post too! I love how colourful they are!

Nice to hang around where the boats are. I like the colourful boats shot against the green forest. I wouldn't trust myself with one with a motor, think I'll stick with rowing boats, and they are a lot cheaper to hire.

That hourly price seems pretty steep to me.
Looks like a nice harbor with plenty of boats to admire.

That does sound steep, especially converted to our currency!

You have a wonderful eye for color and form.
Nice B post!
ABC Wednesday is so much fun. It often takes me all week to get around to every one! I learn and am inspired every week.

Nice colorful shot.Beautiful water, greenery and sky.

The price is steep. Lots of boats may sit idle. An old saying in the trucking industry: The Clock Is Running. The clock is running for these boats. Would not cost them a thing to bring the price down - otherwise, they lose out entirely.

Boats seem like the perfect choice for B this week--floating on a lake on a lazy summer afternoon sounds heavenly. I especially love your photo on yesterday's post--what an idyllic rural setting!

Hope you're feeling okay after your spill on the rocks--bruised ribs can be very painful.
