Texas Sky

I snapped this shot in downtown Dallas last month....but I didn't find out what the building was. I liked the way it blends in with the sky.
This is a view of the street it is located on. Maybe someone knows what it is.

Update: James at Newton Area Photo comments that it is the Bank of America Plaza, the tallest building in Dallas. It has a green outline that lights up at night and can be seen for miles.

Terrific shot and even more so against that sky. I should know what building it is since I'm from Dallas, but haven't been there for awhile.

Have a great weekend!

Great shots! I don't know the building but it really reminds me of a mirrored building I used to see in downtown Rotterdam when I worked there. Those windows make for a photogenic building, that's for sure. Happy weekend to you!

Great photo, all that reflecting glass does allow the building to blend in with the sky. Thanks for sharing with us all in sky watch friday.

Beautiful picture, Carol! I think that may be the Bank One building which is a 60 story granite and glass skyscraper. One of the more distinctive buildings of downtown Dallas. Love! ;)

Hi carol the tall building is the Bank of America plaza building and it's the tallest building in Dallas and at night it has a green outline that lights up and can be seen for miles. The building that stands out behind it is the Renaissance Tower and it is the second tallest building in dallas.

Great shots. It's nice to see Dallas pictures.

I don't know what the building is either. But I sure wouldn't want to be the window cleaner.

The building in the first shot looks almost like a mirage, the way it blends with clouds and sky. Great shot!
