Having never lived near the water I have always been fascinated by gulls. They seem so graceful for their size. My husband has spent many years at sea and has a different opinon. He calls them flying rats.

I do love your shot though. I notice you also captured some smoke stacks in he background. They are another of my interest. I have hundreds of photo's of the ones here.

Thanks for stopping by our site and have a great week.

Is it just me or are gulls getting bigger all the time?
If I hear their calls it makes me crave fish for dinner.I like the way the yellow is not the main part of the picture but there is no missing it's punch.

Very sharp photo! I clicked on it to enlarge it for a closer look at that fella snoozing on the fence, lol. That's my kinda bird ... everyone else flying around and he's all mellow. Great capture!

I love shooting gulls. Don't really care for them as birds (sorry) but when they are in flight, they're pretty graceful to look at...
