Skywatch Friday

Ohio has alot of gray skies...this day I took at least a hundred photos of this frozen waterfall... only a handful had this tiny tinge of blue peeking thru that old sycamore tree leaning in...taken at Charleston Falls in Miami County...

To see many skies from around the world click on the Skywatch emblem on the side bar.

The icicles are scene stealers in this photo - very dramatic and interesting.

A frozen waterfall is amazing to me - how does running water freeze? Very nice photo - great for SWF!

Love this! I used to see things like this where I grew up. Not much water for such things in the desert!

Magnificent picture, I could do with some cold here (very humid and hot here in sub-tropical Queensland). Thanks for visiting my blog.

The icicles are great. I'm a big fan of winter.

Great shot of the frozen falls. Nicely framed by the sycamore. I'm glad you saw (and shared) at least a little bit of blue sky!

Lovely photo Carol...love all your photos..amazing...sunsets, frozen waterfalls....just stunning!

Yes, that happens to me a lot. Is it that you have to actually focus on that blue spot before it actually comes out in the photo?

Annie
